The B1 Preparation Course is designed for individuals who are applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or British Citizenship and need to meet the B1 English language requirement set by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). This intermediate-level course focuses on building strong speaking and listening skills to help learners successfully prepare for an approved B1 English test, such as IELTS Life Skills B1 or Trinity GESE Grade 5.
Who Is This Course For?

Applicants for ILR (settlement) after completing their 5-year residence in the UK

Course Objectives:

Assessment & Certification:
This course prepares students for the following UKVI-approved SELT tests:

Students receive full support in understanding test content, booking the exam, and submitting the correct documentation as part of their ILR or British Citizenship application.
Duration: 6 to 10 weeks (intensive and standard tracks available)
Entry Requirements: Completion of A2 level or equivalent English ability. A placement assessment is conducted to place learners in the right class.
Outcome: Students will gain the skills and confidence needed to pass the B1 English Test, fulfilling the language requirement for ILR or British Citizenship under UK immigration regulations.
